These little clothespin dolls, named Paddy ‘n Mary, have been adopted by Mr. Don Stauffer. Mr. Stauffer spent many years as a missionary in Ireland. Today he continues to work with Global Outreach Mission, but is now based in Ontario, Canada, serving as a Mobilizer. As a mobilizer he helps those who want to get involved in missions to find a place to serve that fits them best. There are many options in areas of medical, spiritual and practical work. Most of all, workers need to be committed to Jesus Christ as their personal Lord.
Don says, “My Mission in life: Along with all creation to bring glory to God, through Jesus Christ, with all my heart, soul, mind and strength.”
The picture above was taken at the Winona Peach Festival in Winona, Ontario, at a car show.
Don writes: “Great afternoon at the Peach Festival yesterday. HOT though! While I placed the two on the bonnet, (hood) the owner was near by. She inquired and I told her about you and your Penny dolls. I shared the colour story of the Gospel and she was intrigued very much…”
